Women are expected to be flawless—smooth, consistent, and perfect, not just in appearance but in behavior. We’re supposed to enter relationships unspoiled, free of baggage, untouched by past wounds. Yet, perfection is often unapproachable, uninspiring, or worse—merely ornamental.

The condition of womanhood is the expectation of flawlessness while navigating the reality of imperfection. We are meant to expose our cracks, but only in ways that remain palatable. And yet, what makes a woman truly compelling isn’t perfection—it’s depth. A woman with history, with passions, with resilience and stories is far more than an ideal. She is fully alive. Striking that balance—between the seen and unseen, the raw and the refined—is its own art form.
